Youth Risk and Resilience Lab - YR²

Youth Risk and Resilience Lab - YR² YR² Lab is a clinical psychology research lab at Old Dominion University.

The Youth Risk and Resilience (YR²) Lab at Old Dominion University (Director: Dr. Cassie Glenn) is dedicated to research that aims to improve the mental health and well-being of youth. The YR² Lab’s research focuses on a range of self-harming behaviors in youth, including suicidal (su***de attempts) and nonsuicidal self-injury (nonsuicidal cutting). With a foundation in clinical psychological science, the YR² Lab is specifically interested in understanding the psychological processes that lead to suicidal and self-injurious behaviors, improving identification of risk for these behaviors, and clarifying modifiable targets for intervention and prevention among youth.
