On a cold November day many years ago we boarded the big yellow school-bus as we did every day from September to May. This time we had a substitute driver -in -training and Mr Charlie Lashombe was giving the new driver tips on everything from keeping the needle under 55 ,so the old engine wouldnt hum ,o how to back up in certain driveways,etc. We approached my cousin Joes driveway on Old Market Road and Charlie carefuly backed the bus into the driveway. Now beside the driveway was an old crab-apple tree that bore 1000s of little crab-apples each season and this season was no different. Now, Charlie,trying to show off his backing skills perhaps,got a little too confident ,or perhaps sidetracked by talking to the new driver he got a few feet off the driveway and backed squarely into the crabapple tree shaking the tree and getting a harvest of little red crab-apples. Ooooops!

I am starting this page with the intention of bring people together that attended Plumbrook Parochial School during the 80s and 90s. Its a page where we can reconnect and share memories ,pictures etc. Welcome ,and invite anybody you know that was a part of this school.
