The ODU Propeller Club is excited to announce our first meeting tomorrow January 26th from 12:30-1:15. We will host Will Fediw and are excited to learn valuable information that we can take into the work space. Feel free to message us for the zoom information and we are excited to see you all there!

The Business Analytics Club and the Propeller Club are hosting Adam Howard, Director of Automation and Business Analytics, to speak about data, logistics, and related business functions. Adam is an ODU graduate with a major in Maritime Supply Chain and Minor in Business Analytics. Don't miss out on learning how you might be working in the field after college! Pizza will be provided!

A big thank you to Patty Reed from CMA CGM for coming to speak here at ODU. We learned a lot about the French-founded company yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the ODU Propeller Club, Finance Club and CMA CGM. We hope that you gained a lot of new knowledge as well! 🚢

Yesterday was the Norfolk Propeller Club's Biannual Oyster Roast! This is one of the our favorite events of the year. During this event, we are given the opportunity to network, fundraise, and eat some really great food. We always have a great time.

We will be having a club meeting on Tuesday, October 8th in Constant Hall Room 1009 (our regular classroom) during Activity Hour (12:30-1:20). We will be joined by David Bocanegra and Bryce Lynch from The Port of Virginia! Please come and join us if you're available. Members of the ODU Propeller Club had the wonderful opportunity to attend today's Virginia Maritime Association Membership Briefing. The event's guest speaker was Virginia Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry, Bettina Ring. We are honored to be able to participate in events like this to learn more about the industry, network with key individuals, and refine our professionalism. Thank you to the VMA and Old Dominion University for this opportunity!
