Some pictures of what we've been up to! Our theme for the first week of summer was the farm! We took a field trip to pick strawberries and see the animals on the farm. Our next week's theme was the ocean and we visited First Landing State Park to catch crabs, seaweed and even saw some jellyfish! This week, our theme is creepy crawlies, and we're learning all about bugs!

A few pictures of what we've been up to lately! Our Human Body unit has been tons of fun! We've traced ourselves on paper and made our own skeletal system and played a fun game to learn about how our brain affects our actions and behaviors. We dissected a frog (don't worry, only the big kids did any cutting!) and learned to complete a proper lab report. We made a cross section of a cell and learned to identify its parts. Our littlest humans have been busy getting messy with playdough, paint, sand and so much more. Every day is something new!

Today's presentation on reptiles! This was intended for our kindergartners, who are currently studying a unit on rainforest animals. But who can resist getting to pet a realllly cool snake? Everyone was absolutely enthralled!
We learned about pythons, tagus, hissing cockroaches, chameleons and more! Thank you to our new friend Mr Robert for sharing his animals, time, and knowledge with all of us!
