I love what I do! I’m proud of this 2nd grader. Erica is rocking out her reading sessions (and, yes… on a Saturday morning!). Although SOLs don’t start until 3rd grade, Let Me Tutor U 2 is prepping her success.

Today’s summer session with Let Me Tutor U2 went well. The book we used was “Dear Girl” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Paris Rosenthal.
Rising second-grade student Erica recalled the details in the book. We concluded her reading comprehension session with her writing a Dear Girl letter to herself. Listen on.

Today’s summer session went well. Erica focused on reading comprehension. We did a lot of recalling to make sure she that understood what she was reading. She even drew a picture which reflected what she read. I’m proud of her, and I told her so.
