Are you passionate about shaping the future of exercise science? Join us as a full-time Lecturer in the Exercise Science Program within the College of Health Sciences at Old Dominion University! ๐Ÿ’ช

โœจ Position: Lecturer in Exercise Science (Full-Time, Ten-Month)
๐Ÿ“… Start Date: Effective July 25, 2024
๐Ÿข Location: Old Dominion University, College of Health Sciences

๐Ÿ”ฌ Program Highlights:

Three state-of-the-art laboratories: Human Performance Lab, Neuromechanics Lab, and Wellness Institute & Research Center
10 full-time core faculty members
Commitment to diversity and stable faculty environment

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent instruction in 4 undergraduate exercise science courses each Fall/Spring semester
Engage in departmental, college, university, and/or discipline service, including mentoring students/faculty and community engagement
Provide engaging, organized, and evidence-based instruction

๐Ÿ“š Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate exercise science coursework
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Masterโ€™s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related area by July 25, 2024

๐ŸŒŸ Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related area by July 25, 2024
Evidence of teaching across two or more sub-disciplines (e.g., biomechanics, exercise psychology, exercise physiology)
