🎓Senior Spotlight: Amelia Pearson

Please join us in celebrating Hurrah alumni Amelia Pearson on her graduation from Coastal Carolina University! 💙💛

Amelia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance, and we couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished. Her journey through The Hurrah Players helped shape her love for the arts, creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Amelia shared:
"Growing up through Hurrah was a joy and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my childhood! My favorite memory would have to be performing Dames at Sea on the deck of the USS Wisconsin. Watching the sunset and being with the most wonderful people will always have a special place in my heart!" ❤️🎭

This summer, Amelia is returning to Hurrah as a summer camp teacher, inspiring the next generation of performers before heading off to New York City to pursue her dreams and embrace the auditioning life!

We are thrilled to have Amelia back with us this summer and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes in the future.

Congratulations, Amelia! Once a Hurrah Player, always a Hurrah Player. We are so proud of you and excited for this next chapter! 🌟👏

🎓Senior Spotlight: Elana Lapetina

Please join us in congratulating Hurrah alumna Elana Lapetina on her graduation from East Carolina University!

Elana graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts major and a minor in Composite Natural Sciences. She now plans to continue her education in medical school with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Ear Surgeon — an incredible path dedicated to helping children and changing lives. 🩺

One of Elana’s favorite Hurrah memories was driving the Moana boat around the Sandler Center stage after the long COVID layoff from performing — a joyful moment that celebrated the return of live theatre and the magic of being back together again. 🌊🎭

Congratulations, Elana! Once a Hurrah Player, always a Hurrah Player. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds! 👏
