Hello all!
I wanted to let you know that we won’t have a GEM meeting this Saturday because it is the same day as TIES (Transgender Information and Empowerment Seminar) in Richmond.

It is free! I have gone before and highly recommend it! You get to meet lots of cool people, and there are some very informative sessions throughout the day.

If you need a ride, there is a van going up, and last I heard there were still some seats open. Call the LGBT Life Center if you’re interested in catching a ride. The next GEM meeting will be Saturday, November 2nd.

Federal court rules North Carolina cannot ban trans people from restrooms The court also allowed a case seeking to overturn the ban on nondiscrimination ordinances to continue as well.
