Hey Powhatan Village! I hope your first few weeks here have been nothing short of amazing! That being said, please do your due diligence in checking the weather everyday from here on out. The university also does this but you need to know for yourself whether or not you should evacuate. Advice to those living in Powhatan, whether or not you're on the first floor, be sure to put all of your expensive items up high, cover your goods with plastic, and unplug anything that could be shorted by water! Just some friendly advice from someone who has seen it all!

Your help is needed as we welcome potential new Monarchs to campus! We are excited and hope that you plan to participate in the campus-wide Admitted Student Day on April 6, 2013! Admitted Student Day is designed to welcome students and their families to campus to celebrate their admission to ODU. The program provides future Monarchs the opportunity to experience the energy and excitement of ODU as they learn more about academic programs, student support, activities, engagement, and residence life.

As a current student, you can relay the true Monarch Spirit which makes Old Dominion University a special place. Please consider this opportunity to volunteer at Admitted Student Day.
