He will be speaking about conflict resolution to ensure a smoother work environment and salary negotiation techniques, so you can get what you deserve! ODU SHRM has a big meeting coming up this Thursday, February 4th! Claudine Baggett and Dena Corr from the Hampton Roads chapter of the national SHRM will be coming in to talk about what becoming a member has to offer. These ladies will be going in depth about the different seminars SHRM offers, the great array of certifications, and best of all: networking. Being known is a big part of the battle, and this massive organization can help make that happen! We all know how to act professional when we are face-to-face, but what about when we do it over the internet? Sending professional e-mails can be a daunting task at first as no one wants to come off as lazy or offensive. If this is you, come out to SHRM's workshop January 21st!
