Become immersed in the present without distraction as we focus on our brush strokes, how the colors flow onto the paper, and the moment. • Sunday, August 18, 2:00 - 3:30 pm • Crafternoons are suitable for older teens through adults.

Our popular drawing class for adults returns August 15th! • Six-week session of weekly graphite drawing classes for adult artists. Classes will build upon each other beginning with basic mark-making and working through contour drawing to shading and texture. Environmental and figure drawing may be covered depending on class pace. Sketchbook required, but all other materials provided. • Thursdays, August 15 - September 19 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm • $195 per person • Suitable for teens (15+) & adults

Scenes from Summer Art Club for Teens: Printmaking - So far we have printed with random stuff, Legos, Jello and fish (Specifically Gerald the Spot 🐠 and LaShawnda the Croaker 🐟). We are having such fun printmaking in Summer Art Club for Teens and drawing Manga! We've printed with Legos, Jello, and next Tuesday we're printing with fish! 🐟 Sunday, the Manga group will be exploring Chibi style characters. We recently traveled through time and space in Art Through the Ages Camp. We began in pre-historic times with cave paintings, skipped around through ancient Egypt and Greece, visited the Italian Renaissance, French Impressionism and Pop Art of the 60’s, and even snuck some Basquiat and Kandinsky in for good measure! The highlight of the week was our visit to to see some of the art we learned about in real life.

Hello July! The studio will be closed this week for the holiday, but Open Studio marches in beginning Saturday with Hanging Gardens. Plus, it’s Christmas in July all month long in the Creation Station! How fun to make a snow globe in the middle of Summer! It’s tie dye day! Just in time for the Fourth! 🇺🇸 Red, white & blue tie dyed tees this Saturday in Open Studio! Register as usual for studio time and add on tie dying for just $5. You can bring your own, dye your camp tee or buy a youth size Outside the Lines tee for $15. Wee ones, teens & adults are welcome too, but please bring your own shirt to dye, and don’t forget to wash it first if it’s new!
