TAU SIGMA'S 2ND ANNUAL OPEN MIC NIGHT FUNDRAISER AT MOJOBONES 03/03/2013
Tau Sigma Meet & Greet with Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) 03/03/2013

Recently our organization has made a connection with the regional President of Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society for Two Year Colleges/ Community Colleges. We believe that introducing the ODU chapter of Tau Sigma to PTK is advantageous for both our organization and the University by showing PTK members what ODU and Tau Sigma have to offer them as transfer honor students. They attended this meet and greet at ODU on February 25, 2013 at 5:30 pm. During the event we hosted a formal dinner for members of the TNCC and TCC chapters of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). We are trying to bridge gaps with the community colleges because a majority of members who transfer to ODU come from the community colleges in the area. We want to inform them about Tau Sigma well before they get here. This will also give us a chance help better serve the needs of our transfer students as conversation came up as to what we could do to help them have a better transition and see the kinds of resources they are interested in before they get here. This is our sole mission as an organization.

CONNECT U & MLK WALK 03/01/2013
