Hey Class of 2020! If you are going to college this fall (either online or in person) and are looking to get involved in campus ministry, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is trying to make connecting as easy as possible. We have in person and digital ministries at almost every major campus in the country and we would love to connect with you wherever you are attending school this fall. Fill out this form so that the student leaders at your university can reach out to you!
Dear Class of 2020.....Your class will be the last one where I joyfully had the opportunity to have nearly everyone in class for one year or another. My schedule has changed and now that opportunity will never pass my way again. Thank you for the respect you freely gave me each day. Thank you for your open expressions of love which were never deserved but warmly received. Thank you for your kind words, for the joy you allowed me to experience as I watched you in your games, and for the thrill of the worship as you led in chapel. As I grow older I find myself reflecting more on the moments and experiences of the people God has magnificently and intimately placed in my path. On more than one occasion during this pandemic I have grieved the loss of seeing you and making you laugh, or telling a silly story, or offering a cookie to one of the girls. I am composed of the bits and pieces of the people in my life, and your lives are now interwoven into who I am. Please forgive me for the moments when I failed to express my love to you. You are worthy of praise, and I am glad to be known as your brother in Christ. God bless you as you continue your journey beyond the walls of NCS. I already miss loving you.
Ben Dechert’s Eagle Scout Service Project - a new storage shed for the NCS athletic department. What a great group of volunteers and everyone was so happy to do this project for the school:).
No matter how much sacrifice and work it takes, it's worth everything for your children to get an education at Norfolk Christian Schools. Been there and done that. And the key was faith...trusting God to provide.
Norfolk Christian is the best school to which you could ever send your children. On every level they get the best education and support and preparation for life. And NCS is part of the joint effort together with the church to help the parents raise up their children in the way they should go.
Sending our children to Norfolk Christian was one of the best decisions we ever made for them. The best school with every provision and program to help prepare them for life. An outstanding education and the real advantage of being in the midst of and among other strong Christians.
Why do you continue to blow your yard debris into the street? Why do you insist and blowing yard waste into the street? You built a beautiful facility! I am happy to be your neighbor but this is getting old! I have asked nicely. I have informed your that by doing so it adds to debris which clogs our storm water drains. I have told you that it violates Norfolk City codes. Not to mention to looks sloppy and then eventually I have to clean it up! Its not bad enough I have to clean up trash after every sporting event because there is no one monitoring the crowds and or cleaning up after them. I do this quietly but at some its getting old and just not right. — at Norfolk Christian Schools.

Ben Mekkes did a great job getting the 8th grade drum line ready for the school year.
On the behalf of everyone at Heifer International, thank you so much to Norfolk Christian Schools! Your first graders raised over $500 this spring to help end hunger and poverty. We are so grateful that your students
participated in our Read to Feed program!
