Finishing Touches for Girls and Teens (formerly Pretty Me, Inc)

In just one week, my Finishing Touches classes will debut at Cedar Point Club I’m delighted to announce this new partnership.  The course for boys and girls ages 6 to 11 will be on Saturday and age is 12 and up will be on Sunday afternoon.

This has been an amazing new year and we’re just in January!  Trantwood elementary And John B Dey are starting and St. Patrick’s Catholic school not far behind. Our crazy weather has been a bit of a factor, but we’ll get through it. Our annual class at Cavalier Golf and Yacht is January 8th and we’re full at Norfolk Yacht two weeks after that! Norfolk Academy this May and several corporate and university programs in the books again! I’m grateful and excited for 2026 and beyond.

2025 ended with full programs at The Princess Anne Country Club nextsteptosuccess_nsts virginiabeachcitypublicschools and 2026 is kicking off with Cavalier Golf & Yacht ClubNorfolk Yacht and Country Club saintpatrick.school and back to John B Dey and Trantwood Elem schools in Virginia Beach

The inaugural Strawberry Fest at the Beach will feature free live music, children’s activities, and of course, delicious strawberry-based treats.

This new event comes as a welcome alternative to the Pungo Strawberry Festival, which is on hiatus until they find a suitable venue, according to organizers.

So, I’m taking an informal poll sitting here at a restaurant. I often eat alone, especially after I’ve done a workshop or have had a particularly busy day. It’s my little treat to myself. I’ve noticed the last couple of months that servers are bringing me a device at which I will pay here from the table, and while that’s a lovely convenience: he’s also hovering over at me as I select the level of tip as well as a survey regarding level of service. Everything was fine with service, etc., but I felt a little awkward. What do you all think?
