A week into the school year and 6th grade students are settling into their routines, making connections, and enjoying being back together. We’re off to a great start!

We appreciate your patience and cooperation with the Middle School traffic line during these first few days of school. The first day with all students can be challenging, but I want to reassure you that traffic should move more quickly beginning Monday with the start of Aftershock, as fewer cars will be going through the pickup line. We do our best to keep traffic moving efficiently, and we appreciate your help.

Please keep the following reminders in mind:
--Pull forward as far as possible before your student gets into your vehicle. This helps keep the line moving and allows multiple vehicles to load at the same time.
--Remind your student to be ready and pay attention. Having your student watch for your vehicle and be ready to get in helps keep the line moving efficiently.
--Please do not park in nearby business parking lots. These parking spaces are reserved for their customers.
--Please use designated crosswalks. Students are only permitted to cross the street at designated crosswalks. If your child is walking to a designated pickup area, please plan a route that allows them to safely cross at a crosswalk.

Again, thank you for a great first couple of days! We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and partnership as we work together to make dismissal as smooth and safe as possible. We look forward to a wonderful school year ahead!
