The weather may have shuttered the Sand Sculpting Tent, but our Visual Artists came out in full force for the Neptune Festival Youth Boardwalk Art Show (moved safely indoors to the Convention Center). Congrats to Emirie Lawrence for an Honorable Mention (9th-10th), Berrin Balci for 3rd place (9th-10th), and Ada Colton for 1st place (9th-10th)! We are so proud of all our students who showed their work - great job!

The GSA community was saddened to hear of the passing of Pru Ryan. Pru exemplified what it means to be a community servant. From hospitals, to cultural institutions, to community centers, and our own corner of Downtown where she and her husband Louis named our Miner Music Hall for their nephew - Hampton Roads is better for her being here and she will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
