We love to be able to reuse things and keep as much out of the landfill as we can sometimes. Refilling candles is a great way and we get to make our own scents

The yellow, Spanish onions, and the the zebrune (banana) shallots are coming along! 🧅 Only the start! 👏We will transplant them in the ground probably the end of September and hopefully harvest the beginning of November!
That’s perfect timing for putting garlic 🧄 in our area!

This toilet had a smell to it and leaking water from the base. With a major wobble to it too, I knew it must be the toilet fl**ge. I hope this step by step guide helps someone either with a long-term issue or just plain save some money.

I am not a plumber and don’t claim to be one. There was a problem and I fixed it. Don’t take anything anyone on social media as facts. Including me. Use it as a starting point to do your own research

Finally got the chance to pull the garlic up. This is a hard neck variety called music garlic. I planted the cloves in early November down here in southern VA and mostly covered with leaves. Now is the time we let it dry out for about 30 days before we can tie it all together and then start cooking with it. I’m going to save my biggest most beautiful bulbs for planting this year.
