Welcome to February!! The month of Black history.

We celebrate black history everyday. But we acknowledge those who have been forgotten on black history month!

Check out Doris Miller !

A United States Navy cook who became a hero during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Despite having no formal training in combat, Miller manned a machine gun and shot down enemy planes while under fire, saving many lives. He was the first African American to receive the Navy Cross for his bravery. Miller's actions challenged racial stereotypes and highlighted the contributions of Black servicemen during World War II. His legacy continues to inspire discussions about valor and sacrifice in the face of adversity.

He made our black history possible !
