Celebrating Peace Day at Srim Academy

On Peace Day, our children came together to celebrate the beautiful message of peace, love, and kindness through music and creativity. 💛

We sang Light a Candle for Peace, filling our classroom with gentle voices and a meaningful reminder that even the smallest light can bring hope and peace to the world.
The children also created their own peace doves, symbolizing love, friendship, kindness, and harmony.

At Srim Academy, we believe that peace begins with each child—with learning to be kind, caring for one another, listening, helping, and respecting others.

May the children carry the message of peace in their hearts and spread kindness wherever they go.

Srim Academy Family Picnic!
What a wonderful day of togetherness! Our Srim Academy families came together at the park for a special family picnic filled with good food, meaningful conversations, laughter, and lots of fun.
Even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits! We made the most of the day, sharing delicious food, getting to know one another, and enjoying the beautiful sense of community that makes our Srim family so special.
Thank you to all our wonderful families for joining us and making the day so memorable. We are grateful for these moments of connection and togetherness!

Srim Academy Montessori held another successful Navaratri experience for Atlanta kiddos at GIPL’s always-amazing Interfaith Garba! Thank you for inviting us! The children made Devi’s Crowns, Bhagavati’s Bells, Saraswati’s Candles and got mehendi from our extraordinary teachers.

From Tiny Vines to a Big Harvest! What a wonderful harvest day at Srim Academy!
Our children had the joy of harvesting the wintermelons they had watched grow right before their eyes. From tiny little melons appearing on the vines to watching them grow bigger and bigger, the children experienced the magic of nature every step of the way!
They got to see the fruits of their patience and care—and even better, they got to harvest them with their own little hands!
This experience was more than just gardening. It was a beautiful lesson in patience, observation, responsibility, and where our food comes from.

A Peek Into Our Primary Classroom!

Learning to Care for Our Planet!
Last week, the children had lots of fun learning more about recycling, reusing, and reducing waste!They got creative by turning recycled items into new and exciting creations, followed by a fun outdoor craft project.
We’ve also been busy composting. The children have been collecting all of our fruit and vegetable scraps, adding them to our compost, and turning it every day. They love checking on it and watching as the scraps slowly break down and transform into rich, healthy soil for our organic garden.

It’s wonderful to see the children learning that even small actions can make a big difference!

Summer has been filled with sunshine, smiles, and hands-on learning! ☀️🌈

Our little learners have been making colorful tie-dye shirts, preparing lemonade, exploring science by experimenting with ice, and discovering where healthy food comes from by harvesting fresh organic vegetables from our garden. 🌱🥕🧊🎨

Every activity has been an opportunity to spark creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning while making unforgettable summer memories. We can’t wait to see what adventures are next in our academic year starting next Monday !

A Special Visit from Our Local Heroes!

What an exciting day at Srim Academy Montessori School. We were thrilled to welcome our local firefighters, who visited our school with their amazing fire truck.

The children had the opportunity to meet real firefighters, learn about their important role in keeping our community safe, and explore the fire truck up close. They were fascinated by the equipment, enjoyed asking questions, and even got to spray the water with their hose.

Experiences like these help children connect classroom learning with the real world while building respect and appreciation for the people who serve our community every day.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful firefighters for taking the time to educate, inspire, and create unforgettable memories for our students.
