Another monumental moment at GAC! 🏊‍♂️🎉

This week, we officially broke ground on the site of our future 50-meter outdoor swimming pool! Swimmers, families, and coaches gathered on Wednesday to celebrate this exciting addition to campus. We can’t wait to see this vision come to life and all that it will mean for our Spartan community

Hispanic Heritage Month spans from September 15 to October 15 each year, and at GAC, we take time to honor and celebrate the richness of Hispanic heritage in Chapel. This year, our students “traveled” to different Latin American countries, learning about the unique cultures, traditions and stories of each place, all led by their peers. Beyond simply learning about different cultures, Chapel gave our students an opportunity to reflect on the beauty of heritage and the way it connects to our faith. GAC is not just for your kids...it’s for our parents too. ❤️ This semester has already been such a special one as we’ve watched our parent community come together and take advantage of opportunities to connect, build relationships, and grow alongside one another.

Last month, we kicked off our Moms and Dads Bible studies and started a new tradition with our first Parent Prayer Walk. Parents walked around campus together, praying over our buildings, the students and faculty who fill them each day, and the heart of GAC.

We’re so grateful for a parent community that continues to show up for one another and for our school.

The best kind of learning takes you places! ✈️

Whether it looked like traveling to Belize and shadowing physicians to exploring the beauty of Banff, Canada to serving our local community, Learning Excursions Week gave our High School & Middle School students the chance to connect what they’re learning at GAC to the world around them.

Through new experiences, hands-on learning, service, and time spent together, our Spartans were challenged to step outside of what’s familiar, discover new interests, and grow along the way. It’s a week that reminds us that meaningful learning can happen beyond the classroom!

Our first Parent Partnership Event of the year explored how, as parents, we play a vital role in creating capability in our kids. Sissy Goff and David Thomas of Raising Boys and Girls returned to GAC’s campus to share their wisdom and insight on this important topic. From talking through the challenges of parenting to encouraging parents in the journey and sharing practical skills and strategies, Sissy and David offered our GAC community incredible wisdom and encouragement.

At GAC, we believe parenting is a journey we were never meant to navigate alone. That’s why we’re committed to partnering with our parents, creating opportunities to learn, grow, and encourage one another along the way. Because it truly takes a community to raise and support our kids well.
