June is Pride Month!

Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall protest in New York City, and recognizes the impact that le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, q***r, and intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals have had on history–locally, nationally, and internationally.

GCPS celebrates individual as we cultivate a culture of belonging while leading with empathy, equity, and excellence to ensure that students, families and staff feel welcome, safe, accepted, valued, and prepared for the future.

Today was a full circle moment as our graduating seniors returned to Rockbridge ES for our Senior Walk — right where it all began. Watching them walk the halls once again reminded us how far they’ve come and all that they will continue to accomplish. We are so proud to celebrate this milestone and be a small part of the foundation that helped shape their journey. Go Mustangs! 🎓🩵🐴

Today we celebrated an incredible group of 5th graders as they reached an important milestone. We are so proud of the growth, leadership, and memories made this year, and we know middle school is gaining an amazing group of students. Congratulations!

A huge congratulations to our incredible Head Custodian, Ms. Zana Sabanovic, and our outstanding custodial team for being recognized at Gwinnett County Public Schools’ 38th Annual Custodial Awards Ceremony with the Exemplary Custodial Care Award! 🎉👏

This honor reflects the hard work, dedication, and pride Ms. Sabanovic and her team bring to our school each and every day! 💙

All registered Kindergarten students will be entered into our next bike raffle happening at the end of May!
