***NOT THE OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE FOR NORCROSS HIGH SCHOOL*** The new building opened with a student population of 2,400 students.

Norcross High School opened a 440,000-square-foot (41,000 m2) facility at 5300 Spalding Drive in Norcross in August 2001. This land was purchased by the Gwinnett County Public School System because the 1998 tornado cleared the land of trees. Today the student body has an estimated 3,000 pupils. The former facility located at 2595 Beaver Ruin Road has been renamed Buchanan High School of Technology, which houses Gwinnett Online Campus and GIVE Center West, a grade 6-12 alternative school.

High School & College Graduates of 2020 who are residents of the City of Norcross

Graduates -Decorate your car and join the line-up! Include your name and school you graduated from. High school graduates may want to share where they are headed to college and decorate for it. Have a driver, drive yourself… up to you! Just remember to stay in your cars and follow CDC guidelines for social distancing. No need to RSVP.

Residents- Please spread the word, and join us on Saturday for some celebratory, but socially distant, fun! If you are not a graduate but live on the route, please stand out in your yard or sidewalk to cheer for them as they pass by. If the parade won’t pass your home, line the streets downtown or the perimeter of Thrasher Park (while respecting social distance) to participate. The antique fire truck will lead the parade and the city’s new trolley will serve as the caboose. Feel free to make posters, ring cow bells, decorate your yard, anything is welcome to help them feel loved and celebrated!
