Our 6th Annual Athletic Banquet was such an inspiring evening. ✨ Watching our student-athletes achieve so much through their hard work, dedication, perseverance, and teamwork was truly special.

Behind every accomplishment is the support of devoted coaches, supportive parents, teammates, and a community cheering them on every step of the way. We are so proud of all our athletes and everything they have achieved, both on and off the field. 💙

Teacher Appreciation Week at AFA was one to remember! 💙 Our high school clubs spoiled our staff all week long with exciting daily spreads, and we wrapped up the celebration with an amazing staff luncheon hosted by our PTO. 🎉

We were also honored to celebrate our incredible staff members reaching their 10- and 20-year milestones at AFA. Your dedication, love, and commitment to our students and school community are truly inspiring. ✨

To all of our teachers and staff: thank you for everything you do. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we pray Allah (SWT) blesses you abundantly for every lesson taught, every kind word shared, and every heart nurtured. May He place barakah in your time, reward your efforts immensely, and make your work a lasting source of goodness in this dunya and the akhirah. Ameen! 🤲

We celebrated our very first Khitmah Program with our students and families, and it was truly a morning to remember. Our Qur’an Department hosted a beautiful breakfast to honor the hard work of our 8th graders. This journey, from 6th through 8th grade, is more than just reading the Qur’an; it is about building a lifelong and daily connection with the Book of Allah. 🤍

Two highlights from the morning: our high school student Yusef led us in a moving du‘a, and Zunayed shared the translation, giving everyone a moment to truly reflect on the words.
A special shoutout to our dedicated Qur’an teachers; your patience, commitment, and sincere efforts are what make journeys like this possible. May Allah reward you abundantly for every letter taught and every heart you’ve helped connect to His Book.

In a world full of distractions, seeing our students stay committed to the Qur’an every single day makes us so incredibly proud. May Allah make the Qur’an the light of their hearts and their guide throughout their lives. Ameen! 🤲

We hosted a special breakfast to thank our Super Volunteers (parents who go above and beyond, Troop Leaders, PTO Members, and Board Members), the incredible individuals who pour their time, energy, and love into our school community. 🤍

We also enjoyed a fun game of Kahoot, filled with laughs, friendly competition, and school spirit! 🎉

This year, we were especially proud to recognize volunteers who have dedicated 5 and 10 years of service, an incredible milestone and a true reflection of commitment. 🌟

On Friday, we proudly celebrated our 2nd–8th Grade Qur’an Competition winners. 📖✨

One of the most beautiful moments of the day was hearing our middle school students recite the first 10 ayat of Surah Al-Kahf, Surah Ya-Sin, and Surah Ar-Rahman together, so powerful and moving. SubhanAllah. 🤍

The Qur’an Department is incredibly proud of every student who participated. Remember, in the Qur’an, everyone is a winner, he greatest success is carrying the Qur’an in your heart.

Each grade level recognized 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, along with Gold Seal Certificates for those just shy of placing.

MashaAllah TabarakAllah, some students even challenged themselves by competing 1–3 grade levels above their own, truly inspiring dedication! 🌟

May Allah reward all our students for their efforts in learning and honoring His Book. Ameen!

Our “Are You Smarter Than a Middle Schooler?” showdown ended in an incredible tie between our students and parents! 🙌

Watching our students take on the challenge with such confidence, quick thinking, and determination was truly impressive.

A huge thank you to the parents who stepped up to the podium and to everyone who came out to support! We love seeing our school community come together like this. 🏆✨

Winning a whopping 37 awards… yes, 37! — and taking home 1st Place Overall School for the second year in a row! 🏆💙

We are beyond proud of our incredible students who represented AFA with excellence, confidence, and character. From academics to arts, competitions to teamwork, their hard work truly shined in every category.

And of course… this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated coaches and our amazing MIST lead, Sr. Safia, whose guidance, time, and commitment made it all happen.

Arabic Heritage Day was truly special! A day filled with culture, tradition, and joy! Our students dressed beautifully, explored the richness of Arabic heritage, and enjoyed singing and listening to one another recite beautiful nasheeds. 🌙✨
