Reminder - Cross Country practices start next week!

Pinckneyville Middle School Cross Country Summer Workouts begin June 10th!

While summer workouts are not mandatory, they are highly encouraged — especially for new runners or anyone interested in trying cross country for the first time. Summer is the perfect time to build endurance, improve fitness, and get connected with the team before the season officially begins.

This year we’ll be mixing things up with a few new workout locations and different training opportunities throughout the summer. We’re excited for a great season ahead!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Coach Scott.

June is Pride Month!

Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall protest in New York City, and recognizes the impact that le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, q***r, and intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals have had on history–locally, nationally, and internationally.

GCPS celebrates individual as we cultivate a culture of belonging while leading with empathy, equity, and excellence to ensure that students, families and staff feel welcome, safe, accepted, valued, and prepared for the future.

Big news to share! The Garden Club won 3 big awards for Pinckneyville from the Master Gardener’s Association this year!

These awards, while centered around plants, are really about the people. And the kids who show up to school early each week for garden club and the volunteers that are always there to help support them are what makes garden club so awesome 👏 the recognition is just the icing on the cake!

Shout out to Lori Van Duyne and all the community volunteers and supporters that help to make our garden club so special! Congratulations!!
