Today we had the Latin American Association - Asociación Latinoamericana videotaping at the school garden - they are featuring our very own Beatriz González (Lesbia) in their LAA Stories Project!🤩Lesbia runs "Cultivando!" my nonprofit's urban agriculture program for Spanish speaking adults and youth. If you VOTE FOR ME🎉🎉 (and get your family + 500 of your closes friends to vote too!😅) I will win $30,000 for Gardens4GrowingCommunity. 100% of that award will go towards helping Cultivando! and our other urban farming and school garden programs continue....it takes about 9 seconds and will make a HUGE difference for the communities we support! https://www.coxenterprises.com/our-impact/cox-conserves-heroes 👀🗳✅😇

Wylde Center has another gardening webinar scheduled for December 11 that is free for teachers.
Wylde Center is excited to host local Decatur fruit-grower, Melissa Kacalamos, for the next installment of our Lunch & Learn webinar series on Friday, December 11 at 12 PM.
The fruits commonly available at the supermarket are generally hard to grow in our region, but many more obscure fruits are actually very easy to grow here. In this webinar, Melissa Kacalanos, local gardener, will teach about the easiest and most rewarding fruits to grow organically in our area.
Webinar will be recorded if you can't make the specific time.
