From Spirit Week to the pep rally, Black History Month was full of unforgettable moments. We had the special honor of welcoming Olympic legend Edwin Moses, two‑time Olympic gold medalist in the 400m hurdles (1976 & 1984), an inspiring moment our students will never forget!

ICAGeorgia welcomed the New Year with two joyful traditions: Kakizome (first calligraphy of the year) and Mochitsuki (rice pounding). Students wrote words in Japanese and worked together to make mochi, celebrating unity, effort, and community. Families, special guests, and volunteers joined in, creating a warm, hands-on cultural experience that connects Japan and the United States.
ICAGeorgiaでは、新年を祝い、「書初め」と「餅つき」の楽しい伝統行事を行いました。生徒・児童はお正月に因む賀詞を書き、力を合わせて餅をつきながら、絆や努力、地域のつながりを感じました。ご家族や特別ゲスト、ボランティアのみなさまにもご参加いただき、日米をつなぐ温かい体験型の文化イベントとなりました。
