St. Charles Parish 4-H St. Charles Parish 4-H is an educational program of the LSU AgCenter. The St. Charles Parish 4-H Youth Development program is open to all youth in St. Charles 4-H.

Charles Parish (K-12th grade). Volunteer opportunities are available for youth and adults. Charles Parish 4-H program is open to youth in 4th - 12th grade. Youth learn to develop leadership, citizenship, and life skills through research-based education. Youth gain a sense of belonging, independence, generosity, and mastery by participating in youth development educational programs. Through hands-on learning, youth are able to develop into productive citizens and make friends that last a lifetime! Contact us for more information on how to become an active part of St.

St. Charles Parish 4-H’ers let the good times roll this week at 4-H University! From contests and college classes to dairy store taste and tours and behind the scenes football stadium passes, these students did it all. From birthdays and graduation to 1st time participants, game show contestants, and state board representatives, our St. Charles Parish 4-H U delegates all had something to celebrate today and throughout this week! This morning one of our 4-H’ers competed in a contest that prepared her for a real life job interview. Others participated in educational classes and Clover College courses throughout the LSU campus. Members enjoyed networking, making new friends, learning the campus, and participating in new experiences. Congratulations to our 2 members who will be representing St. Charles Parish as Louisiana State 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassadors next year — Claire & Lylian! And Happy Birthday again to MacKenzie!

Our Krewe de St. Charles enjoyed our first day at 4-H University at LSU! 4-H members toured the beautiful campus, settled in their dorms, met new 4-H friends, and paraded to food trucks, games, and dancing at the evening assembly. Congratulations to all 4-H graduating seniors who were recognized tonight, especially our own — Chloe!! We wish you the best of luck as you continue to lead and make us proud on your next life adventure! Stay tuned for more updates throughout the week.
