Underestimated would be an under statement. Gavine Cooper has been in the fray in the weeds forever. He has sampled all that being a farrier has to offer for longer than one might think. Cat 2 team 10 years ago. ForgingBrains pod cast. How-to videos. Every time you look over there! just to the right there he is. Everybody hoping that he could hang on in the top 5 at Spruce, and boom! he wins the go round. Matter of fact it was good to hear people say, "Ole Gav snuck in there and did good today!" He has been sneaking in there an awful lot lately. Sneaking is what he does. You think he is an easy opponent for matchplay and the next thing we are all clapping as he holds the giant, gaudy, buckle over his head. Yeah that kind of underestimation. People wondering if you are going to fade in the shoeing at Spruce and you end up coming out with Reserve World Champion and a big fat check for $25,000 grand. None of it was free or lucky. Hard work, and paying attention. Dotting your I's and crossing your T's. Gavine has been sharing the love along with how-to videos and endless knowledge on the inter web.
2027 WCB Winter Clinic in Amarillo, Texas at Well Shod farrier supply, January 14th through the 16th. Gav is going to do a talk/clinic/demo and let us in on a little of his sneakiness. Just like his how-to videos it's not going to cost you a dime. People say if you don't charge they won't appreciate it. That's alright the WCB has been underestimated its whole existence so we kinda flock together.
