We all grew up with the Cardinal Cafe as part of our fond memories of Norcatur. The morning round table with the men gathered for coffee and breakfast and the afternoon ladies table... Many of you had the fond pleasure of working there! These articles and pictures were shared by Sharleen Wurm at the Decatur County Museum from the 8-14-1980 Oberlin Herald Issue. The Herald did have an error. The waitress pictured was not Jodi Lyon, it was Loretta Carter. They were featured in the Jan 2024 Issue of the Norcatur News. However, you may not receive that paper. Hopefully, this will b ring back some fond memories for you! Enjoy! Stay posted for more fun memories of Norcatur!
