Join us in congratulating our American Degree recipient!

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree the National FFA Organization can bestow upon an FFA member. Less than 1% of all FFA members earn the American FFA Degree.

Carley will receive her degree at National FFA Convention at the end of October in Indianapolis, IN.

In an effort to support our Trapshoot Team, the Norborne FFA Foundation is having a raffle to raise funds for ammo and clay pigeons for the upcoming season.

🌟SAE Spotlight🌟

Grant has spent the summer traveling with his show heifer, Vickie. During our visit he was performing daily maintenance tasks to keep his heifer show ready. He will show her at the State Fair in a couple weeks which will be their final shows of the year. Vickie will then be retained and bred to grow Grants Hereford cattle herd.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to showcase your SAE projects (crops, grains, flowers, vegetables, fruits, floral arrangements, canned items, grass hay, and ag mechanics projects) at the Missouri State Fair! This is your time to shine and compete with others all across the state by participating in the State Fair with the chance to win awards and premiums directly to you!

Projects will be collected on Monday, August 10th from 8a-3p.

Keagon works as a farm hand for a local farmer, assisting with a variety of daily tasks. During the visit, he was clearing trees and brush from a hayfield as part of ongoing field maintenance.

Londynn raises pygmy goats. She had several goats kidded this spring and plans to sell the bucks while retaining the does to expand her herd and strengthen her breeding program.

Max works for Deitch Property Management, where he is responsible for mowing and w**d eating residential properties and cemeteries throughout the surrounding area.

He has an excellent (and familiar) mentor helping him learn the management side of the business (see the last photo!). 😉
