It is with much regret and a heavy heart that we must announce that as of April 1, 2024, we have officially closed our center. With linear counting in Montessori, children become aware of numbers and the grouping of numbers. The process of counting includes numbers from 1 to 1000. Materials for linear counting are introduced only after mastering early math!!

Montessori curriculum places importance on a child’s experiences with nature, stating that “the best way of invigorating a child is to immerse him in nature”. Nature helps to drive the forces of curiosity and exploration in children while offering rich sensory experiences!!

These activities connect the child with their surroundings and allow them to assume responsibility for their environment.

As our first school year comes to an end, we wish to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all of our families. Thank you for trusting us to provide care and learning to your children this year. It has indeed been an honor and privilege. We are delighted at the progress our students have made and are assured that they leave the school year as more independent and knowledgeable learners!!

Sensorial materials in a Montessori classroom focuses on developing the five senses - visual, auditory, touch, taste, and smell. These materials have a "control of error" to allow the child to self-correct themself, encouraging the child to process the information and find the answer to the problem independently.

Making art is a great, safe way to discover that it is okay to make mistakes and that getting things ‘wrong’ can lead you to a whole new idea. Children get to try new things and also develop their “self-regulation skills” (e.g. when waiting for paint or glue to dry). This helps them develop patience, which all children need help with!!
