A new school year can bring up all kinds of feelings, from excitement to nervous anticipation. So at Primrose, we like to start it with something simple: a smile, a wave and a warm welcome. 💗

Here's to a year filled with curiosity, confidence and meaningful moments of growth. Welcome to a new school year at Primrose! 👋🏫

When you walk into a Primrose school, you're seeing more than furniture and learning materials — you're seeing a thoughtfully designed environment that supports the development of the whole child. 🏫

From child-sized furniture and cozy reading spaces to hands-on learning materials and engaging learning centers, every element serves a purpose as children learn, grow and discover the world around them. 🌱

And while these details may seem small, they help create a place where children feel confident to explore, curious to learn and excited about what comes next. 🔍✨

One of the most meaningful lessons children can learn is that their actions can help others. 💗

Our Spring Fling is an annual, carnival-themed fundraiser that lets Primrose students experience the joy of giving back to families in their community and beyond. This year, through fun auctions, games, food and more, children helped raise more than $560,000 for local charities and the Primrose Schools Partnership for Children℠.

We’re grateful to every family who helped make this year’s Spring Fling so special — and helped children discover that kindness can grow into real community impact. 🌸🌱

Just like any skill, friendship skills grow with practice. 🌱 Here are a few ways to help your child feel more confident connecting with others:

👀 Be a model friend
Children learn by watching. Show kindness, patience and active listening in your everyday interactions.

🧸 Practice with puppets or stuffed animals
Pretend play can help children act out social situations, practice words to use and explore what friendship looks like.

📚 Read stories about friendship
Story time is one of the best ways to teach your child what it means to be a good friend, so snuggle up with a good read, like:
📖 “A Bug, a Bear, and a Boy” by David McPhail
📖 “Hunter’s Best Friend at School” by Laura Malone Elliott
📖 “The Story of Fish and Snail” by Deborah Freedman

🤝 Start with one-on-one play dates
If groups feel overwhelming, smaller play dates can help children build confidence and connection.

✨ Respect the friend chemistry
Sometimes two children just don’t click. Personalities, energy levels and interests can clash, and there’s
no need to force a friendship.

Save this post for friendship-building ideas you can come back to anytime, and share it with a fellow
parent who's helping their little one grow social confidence. 🧩

Choosing a school is about more than finding care. ✨

It’s about finding a place where your child feels safe enough to explore and supported enough to try. A place where their teacher knows their favorite story, where friendships turn classmates into lifelong memories, and where confidence grows with every "I did it!" 🫶

That's life with us. Joyful mornings, purposeful play and the kind of learning that comes home with them. Teachers at Primrose schools nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion from the very start. 🌱

Sometimes what children say sounds funny, but what they really mean is love. 💗

These little observations are their way of noticing the care, effort and heart moms pour into everyday moments, even if the words come out a bit differently.

Take a moment to celebrate the moms who do big things, little things and everything in between out of love.

Share this post with a mom or mom‑figure in your life or tag her in the comments to show some extra love and appreciation. 💐

A child’s relationship with school and learning begins long before they enter elementary school, and we are intentional about making that relationship one filled with joy, curiosity, and excitement! 🌟

At Primrose School of Nolensville, we believe magical moments help children see school as a place of wonder, discovery, and belonging. Whether they’re amazed by a magician’s tricks or sharing a special visit with Elsa or Spider-Man, these unforgettable experiences spark imagination, create lasting memories, and strengthen their love of learning, making them even more excited to come to school each day! ✏️

Because when children love coming to school, they’re more likely to embrace new experiences, ask questions, build friendships, and develop the confidence to learn! 💚

Congratulations, PSN Class of 2026! 🎓💚

It feels like just yesterday many of these children walked through our doors for the first time, and now we have the privilege of watching them take this exciting step toward kindergarten. Over the past year, we have watched them grow in so many ways - building friendships, discovering a love for learning, overcoming challenges, and developing confidence in themselves. Their laughter, curiosity, and joy have filled our classrooms and made our school a better place.

To our PSN parents, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s early educational journey! The trust you have placed in us means more than words can express. While we will miss seeing these wonderful children each day, we are excited for all that lies ahead and know they are ready for their next adventure!
