for my classroom
All of this (and more…check out my stories to see what else I got) was free thanks for our PTO who gave us a gift card to a local teacher store and my own kids who had given me a gift card that still had money on it from Mother’s Day.
Can you tell the vibe I’m going for this year in my classroom??
I don’t plan on buying anything else for my classroom this year bc after 19 years I already have too much but I’m going to work on toning down the colors in my room as best I can.

💙 Tomorrow ends my 24 day vacation with my family in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. (Major benefit to marrying a teacher…we both have our summers off to be with our kids)
💙 We have come here every summer with our boys (to visit my husband’s family) and have made so many special memories year after year.
💙 I always remember this quote and try to make the most of my time with my boys.
💙 Knowing how fast the years are flying by really makes me cherish the summers off with them and makes me thankful for a job that gives me that opportunity.

I am currently on week 3 at the lake and we are living our best lives!
This is a definite benefit of being married to a teacher…we both have our summers off to enjoy with our boys!!

I don’t know about you but I feel like summer is already flying by! Like how in the world is it already going to be July on Friday???
I’m trying to soak in these moments of mental relaxation where I really don’t have a schedule or anything in particular that needs to be done…besides of course keeping my tiny humans alive.
I’ve been reading, sitting by the lake, playing with my kids, visiting with family, and watching lots of HGTV!
