This week we are highlighting Alyssa (Lewandowski) Tallman '17, the owner of Fig & Rind Charcuterie. Alyssa is a wife, young mother, a nurse and a business owner!

"I started making charcuterie boards in college for girls nights and family events. It quickly became something I loved creating and thought maybe it was time to share this love with others.

So, Fig & Rind was born. We focus on making elevated spreads that feel part of the decor of your event and stand out instead of just blending into the background. Each spread is custom designed with your event in mind and the vision you have.

When I’m not creating spreads and boards, I’m a mom to two amazing kiddos & a postpartum nurse by trade. I love old homes, interior design, & baking sourdough."

✨ ALUMNI FEATURE FRIDAY ✨

We are back to school, and that means we are back to sharing our outstanding alumni with you! This week we want to highlight Miss Kathryn Tiplick '24, who entered the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in Nashville on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A special Mass was held for her at her home parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel before she left. Former GC Chaplain Father John Nguyen was there to help in the celebration of the Mass as well!

Kathryn is one of four GC alumni who are beginning formation for religious vocations this fall. Please join us in praying for them as they start this new adventure! 💜💛

Let's Throw it back to this Summer!💜💛

BWAG hosted 17 GC alumni and their guests for a five-week Summer art series. Alumni chose between Ceramics and Stained Glass and were able to design and create their own projects. Each evening included snacks, music and time to socialize while working on projects.

Thanks for joining us at our Alumni Summer Art Camps! We hope you will consider joining us next year!

Congrats Ian Taylor '26!!

Guerin Catholic’s Ian Taylor signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Toronto Blue Jays earlier this week. Taylor was a major factor in the Golden Eagles’ state championship season. Click on the link below for more.
