Monterey Music Studio This is the page where you can keep up with Emily Schnabel's piano studio, student's accomplishments, and other things related to music.

After growing up taking piano lessons in Knightstown, IN Emily Schnabel continued studying piano and church music at Indiana Wesleyan University. In January of 2008 she taught her first piano lesson and discovered that she loved teaching lessons. Her teacher encouraged her to pursue a masters degree in Piano Pedagogy (teaching) and she continued her studies at Butler University. During her time at

Butler Emily began working for Emmanuel UMC and began to see herself moving to Noblesville after graduation. She moved to Noblesville in May of 2012 and began teaching for a studio in Fishers as well as taking on a few students on her own from Emmanuel. In 2013 Emily began dating her future husband Evan. They were engaged in 2014 and bought a home purposefully looking for a space to teach lessons. Once they were married and settled into their home Monterey Music Studio was formed. In August of 2016 Emily became the accompanist for Noblesville High School's choirs. Emily enjoys the variety of teaching lessons. She teaches a variety of ages, from as young as four years old to Grandparents.A variety of abilities, from the very beginning into early advanced levels. And a variety of music from classical, to pop, to church music, chord sheets, and more. She believes anyone can learn to make music at the piano and is committed to helping each student learn to practice and read music so they may learn whatever wish when their time of lessons with her is complete.
