You can’t draw Social Security off your spouse until your spouse draws his own Social Security so he can effectively block you from drawing. But a former spouse does not have that ability. You can draw Social Security off a former spouse once he turns age 62 he never is required to drive his own Social Security for you to be able to draw Social Security off of his work record. Doctors hate the added paperwork that is requesting prior authorization from the Medicare advantage insurance company for your care when the AI of the Medicare advantage company denies the claim doctors have a very good chance of being granted permission if they appeal, but they don’t wanna go to the extra step to appeal because that’s more work for them and their office staff as long as you know the process you can request your doctor to file via appeal so that you can get your prior authorization for your medical procedure for your Medicare part the drug!

You could potentially avoid a Medicare or a surcharge if you want to retire at age 65 and your spouse plans to continue working at a high earning job. High earning making over $200,000 a year gross annual income you can avoid Irma if you decide to file your taxes as married filing separately, don’t do this without consulting an accountant first because it might be an overall win with Medicare, but a loss on your income taxes, so you will weigh the benefits. Dry mouth is something that plagues us as we get older even if we don’t take medication’s that have the side effect of additionally drying out your mouth. It’s part of the aging process so if you wanna protect your teeth, you gotta stay on top of this there are certain gels you can put in your mouth before you go to bed at night to help with dry mouth. I’m going to try out three of them and let you know.

There’s a great tax benefit and you being able to inherit a property. That’s greatly appreciated instead of having your parent gifted to you, which would cause a very big taxable event for most people and could potentially trigger Medicare Irma talk to your accountant or financial planner about stepped-up basis before you allow your parent to give you their house.

You can only do the social security six month retroactive lump sum benefit if you wait to file at least six months past your full retirement age. If you only file 1 to 5 months past your full retirement age, you can only get a lump sum benefit based on how many months you are past your full retirement age. You cannot get a lump sum benefit if you were filing as a spouse off another workers work record or as a widow.

most people when they retire want to take their money from their employers 401(k) and put it under their control, but how you do it the manner that you do it in can determine if it’s going to create a large taxable event for you, and if that intern will create Medicare Irma, two years in the future, forcing you to pay more for Medicare because you didn’t understand how to move your 401(k) without creating a large taxable event talk to a financial planner near you before you touch your 401(k)

Don’t assume you’ll get the maximum spouse or Social Security or widow benefit the amount you get is based on your age when you choose to file for these benefits if you file prior to your full retirement age, you will lock in a permanently reduced amount.
