This is my latest column piece. I want to keep you informed about any legislation which will affect our children.

VERY IMPORTANT MEETING of the school board TOMORROW. The board will be voting on purchasing the curriculum materials for MATH.
The school has chosen the curriculum material that has CRT and Equity interwoven in their student teaching and examples for grades 6-8 and for Algebra I and II.

Please come to the meeting. If you do not wish to give comment it is still very important to be physically present.

IMPORTANT PUBLIC MEETING to show the proposed expansion of Noblesville High School.
The cost has gone from taking out a $17 million bond to a proposed $39 million + interest.
Please plan to attend and bring others with you.
This is our tax dollars that they are deciding on.
Thursday, April 13th at 10 a.m. at the Educational Services Center on River Road.

Join me at the Statehouse on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8TH. We have Dr. Dan Stock speaking about the proposed RULES CHANGES AT 10:30. These rules changes affect what legislation will be heard by our state House and Senate.
These rules changes can have the effect of taking the power away from a select few people to select what bills will be heard and which will not and return the power back to the constituents.

Please, please, please make sure to RESPOND to the parent survey for the MATH CURRICULUM
If you do not have children in the Noblesville schools make sure you speak to every parent that does.
There are good options for the curriculum and bad options that look to indoctrinate.
Respond required by FEBRUARY 17TH.

Please come to the Noblesville school board meeting and support Misti Ray as she is sworn in as the new member to the board. Let's show the rest of the board that we support her and Laura and look for positive changes and transparency.

The next monthly MEETING of the NOBLESVILLE SCHOOL BOARD will be on Tuesday, December 20th at 7:00 p.m. at the ESC Board Room. The agenda is usually available the previous Friday. You can view the agenda under Board Docs. I hope to see you there.

My dedication to improving the education of our children is not done.
I will be writing a monthly column for The Hamilton County Reporter on actions and proposals of the Noblesville School Board.
In addition, I will be following the state legislation on Education and commenting on the bills.
I hope that you will follow my column, give me feedback on the content, and provide suggestions on future columns.

Well, the election did not go as planned.
I want to thank all the people that came out to help me, including the 18K + that voted for me.
