It's pieced and it's cute! I sent a picture to my daughter Emily and her comment was, "The fabrics are just so happy!" She's absolutely right. 🌼 We're calling this quilt, Lori's Kitchen, after Lori Holt, the designer of all these fabrics. This kit has fabrics from her Flea Market, Farm Girl Vintage, Cookbook, and another collection or two I can't recall. I can't wait to see it quilted, and am excited that it will hang in our booth at the upcoming quilt show! ~ Dianne

The Lori's Kitchen quilt kit (shop sample) is coming along nicely. Oh, the scrappiness.of it all! 😬 For those of you who know me well, I'm not one that's going to choose a particularly scrappy project, but this looks pretty cute! With any luck, this will be quilted, bound and hanging in our upcoming quilt show booth. Fingers crossed. 😀

This project is made using the Brightly pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew and the fabrics are from several different Lori Holt collections.

PS: For those of you who know me, I'm working diligently to not overthink the layout. Believe it or not, this is the most scrappy quilt I've ever made. I've always been much more of a "controlled" scrappy kind of girl. 🙄😅 ~Dianne

I simply must brag on Valerie! This girl really knows how to make dazzling birthday gifts!
