We had so much fun learning about ๐‡๐ž๐ง๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐“๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ, exploring the museum, and heading out on a nature hike to search for fossils! ๐Ÿฆด๐ŸŒฟ

We stayed local and beat the summer heat with an indoor bowling day! Nearly every kiddo managed to score a ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐ซ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐š ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ค๐žโ€”and, of course, they had an absolute blast! ๐ŸŽณ๐Ÿ™Œ

For our final field trip of the summer, we headed underground to stay cool while learning all about the cave and its incredible history. We even learned that ๐…๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐‚๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ž-๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐œ๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š! ๐Ÿš๐Ÿชจ

A huge ๐“๐‡๐€๐๐Š ๐˜๐Ž๐” ๐ญ๐จ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ who entrusted us with your kiddos this summer. We love watching this program grow each year and, honestly, one of our favorite treats is getting to see these kids come back whenever school is out. ๐Ÿ’™

Last week, we had some very special visitors from the Nixa Fire Protection District, and our little learners absolutely loved it! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’

Our students got to learn all about how firefighters help keep our community safe, including:

One of our favorite parts of the week has returnedโ€”๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ! Every week, our students ages ๐Ÿโ€“๐Ÿ’ gather together for a special time of worship, Bible stories, prayer, and lessons that help build strong hearts and strong character.

Over the past three weeks, we've learned some wonderful lessons:

As our students transitioned into new classrooms, we were reminded that even when things feel different, God is always with us guiding and comforting us every step of the way.

Our children learned that listening to parents, teachers, and other trusted adults helps keep them safe and shows love and respect for those God has placed in their lives.

This week, we focused on the power of our words and how kindness can brighten someone's day. By speaking with love and encouragement, we reflect God's love to those around us.

At Morning Star Academy , we believe that nurturing a child's faith is just as important as nurturing their minds. We're so thankful for these weekly opportunities to help our students grow in God's love while learning values they'll carry with them for years to come.

A special thank you to Ms. Sarah Myers for leading our Chapel services and sharing God's love with our students each week. We can't wait to see what lessons the rest of the year has in store! ๐Ÿ’™โœ๏ธ
