A camp that’s all about the dogs! We are big animal lovers - but it’s no secret we love dogs!! (Has anyone ever noticed our door mat that says “Dogs welcome! People tolerated”?)

Operation At Ease Inc is a cause that’s very near and dear to our hearts. They pair shelter dogs with veterans & first responders, and provide a free guided training program for PTS & light mobility service dogs.

I know some of ya’ll might be looking for something for your kids to do during February break - spend it on the dogs!

Schenectady County has declared a State of Emergency due to severe winter weather. All non-essential County offices, including all Schenectady County Public Library branches, will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, and are expected to reopen Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Department of Social Services: Closed, with on-call staff available for emergent needs at (518) 382-0383.

Travel is restricted to essential personnel only. Please limit travel so crews can keep roads clear and the community safe.

Our beloved Mimi Judy Shell Burns is looking to reduce her hours so she can FINALLY start enjoying her retirement!

We are looking to hire another full-time assistant to join our family with Megan and Jeanette here at The Kiddo Classroom, LLC 😊

We are the Capital Region’s premiere outdoor program, and our 1 acre landscape proves it! We spend a minimum of 3 hours a day outside (weather permitting of course) so the love of the outdoors is a MUST.

We are excited to launch our PreK-3 curriculum in January 2026! We will be blending hands-on learning with outdoor play.

Last week we had the amazing opportunity to host Whispering Willow Wild Care for our summer camp girls and our kiddos!!

We learned about barn owls, screech owls, hawks, ravens and crows! Joyce & Marina were absolutely fantastic 😊 if you are looking for a great educational show, give them a call!
