Rosendale Parent Teacher Organization

The Rosendale Parent Teacher Organization supports the students, teachers, and families of Rosendale

The Rosendale PTO provides support to Rosendale Elementary School in Niskayuna New York through:

• sponsoring of events, external speakers, field trips, and special occasions designed to enhance the educational mission of Rosendale Elementary School and the depth and richness of the experience of its students.

• direct classroom support to teachers in the form of supplemental funds and resources

for use in classrooms and school projects, as well as support to the school's Principal for similar schoolwide issues (such as scholarships for field trips, special evenst or equipment used school-wide, etc.)

• support of Rosendale families in the education of their children

• community-building through hosting events and family social occasions

• fundraising to support the above activities. Rosendale PTO acts as a non-profit organization and is part of the Niskayuna PTO Council of all schools in the Niskayuna Central School District, New York. Rosendale was the proud founder of the electronic presence on-line of the PTOs in Niskayuna and strives to continue to pioneer the use of electronic and social media in a responsible fashion which collaborates with and enhances education at Rosendale.
