Niskayuna Friends of Music

Since 1961, Niskayuna Friends of Music has enhanced music education for Niskayuna Schools. Monthly meetings are held in the high school orchestra room at 7 p.m.

Niskayuna Friends of Music funds district music festivals, enrichment grants, and student scholarships. on Mondays. Exact dates can be found on the district calendar, the Niskayuna Friends of Music website, or at www.niskymusic.org.

🎶🎶Congrats Mr. Pandori!! Mr. Pandori was nominated by Barry Manilow's team to receive this award, and it was his Nisky students and our community that showed their support by voting for him for the Manilow Music Teacher Award! Such a great honor and a wonderful night! Thank you to the Manilow Music Project for all you do and for recognizing one of our amazing music teachers!! What an epic moment for Mr. Pandori and our music program!!🎶🎶

🎶🎶Congratulations to Niskayuna High School senior Evan Frenyea, who was recently awarded the prestigious Lee Shaw Scholarship, presented annually by the Swingtime Jazz Society to an outstanding graduating senior pursuing jazz studies at the collegiate level. The award was presented during Jazz on Jay in downtown Schenectady on June 11, recognizing Evan’s exceptional musicianship, dedication to jazz, and continued commitment to musical excellence.🎶🎶
