Thank you, voters, for your support of this budget and for your trust in me to continue serving Niskayuna. I am so very excited to come back for another term and continue working with all of you. 🙏

Congratulations to MyLisse Kochan who will join us soon! And thank you to Jonathan Vaillancourt for his willingness to serve. Niskayuna is lucky to have people who truly care and want to engage in the work needed to be done to make sure our schools are the very best they can be.

As a teacher, I’ve spent my career inside schools listening, learning, and working alongside students, families, and staff. That perspective has guided my first term on Niskayuna’s Board of Education, and over the past three years, I’ve prioritized collaboration, asked thoughtful questions, and embraced reflection to make informed adjustments where needed. Schools are always evolving, and so must we. As such, I remain committed to keeping a clear focus on the future while ensuring today’s decisions truly support our students and educators - all while keeping eyes on school safety, inclusion of all our diverse learners, and fiscal responsibility. I would be honored to continue serving our community with this same dedication and care for another term.

It has been an extraordinary privilege to serve on Niskayuna’s Board of Education these past three years, and today, I am announcing my run for three more. Thank you for trusting me for this long, and I hope I can continue to have your support for Round 2.
