Finding your center can open up a whole new world of movement. đź’ś

I’m excited to share my newest article in Balanced Body’s The CORE: “Finding Center in Motion: Using the CoreAlign® and the ABCD’s of Scoliosis.”

Join longtime client Summer and me as we explore how awareness, breath, and movement create more choices for a body living with scoliosis.

Our framework is easy to follow:
✨ A — Assessment: Discover how your body organizes itself today.
✨ B — Breathing: Explore expansion and connection.
✨ C — Centering: Find your center with freedom to move.
✨ D — De-rotation: Explore possibilities beyond familiar patterns.

As someone who lives with scoliosis, this work is deeply personal. Helping others feel more confident in their own bodies is at the heart of why I teach—and why we wrote Scoliosis: Bring in the Hope.

Read the article, watch our session, and share it with someone who could use a little hope. đź’ś

But then came a moment I have waited YEARS for…

The BIG REVEAL of the first round of our published books:
Scoliosis: Bring in the HOPE. đź“–

And this is where you may want to grab a Kleenex…because I definitely couldn’t hold it together.

This book has been a labor of love spanning nearly two decades, and seeing it finally HERE—in our hands—brought everything full circle.

I shared the story of Charles and my mom, the two very special people to whom this book is dedicated, and why their stories are woven so deeply into the heart of this project.

Suddenly, it wasn’t about publishing a book.

It was about the people who helped create the WHY behind it.

The people who believed.
The people who changed our direction.
The people who reminded us to keep searching for another possibility.

To bring in the HOPE.

Thank you to everyone at Bovee Pilates Studios for giving us such a beautiful place to share this milestone. What a moment to experience together on Anatomy on Tour®.

The books are HERE. The tears were REAL. And this next chapter has officially begun. ❤️

ABCDs OF SCOLIOSIS ~ 4.0 CECs
What if you could look at a client with scoliosis and see more than the curve?

See how they breathe.

How they walk.

Where they rotate.

Where they compensate.

Where they need space—and where they need support.

That’s what we’ll explore together in ABCDs of Scoliosis, a 4-hour movement-based workshop for Pilates and movement professionals.

Using Pilates principles, postural and gait assessment, breathing techniques, centering, and specialized corrective movement, you’ll build a toolbox you can take directly back to your clients.

The goal? Not a formula.

A better eye. A deeper understanding. And more confidence in the choices you make as a teacher.

REFORMER INTENSIVE | THREAD THE SYSTEM TOGETHER.
October 22-27 2026 Hagler Method or ONLINE

I teach Reformer 1, 2 + 3 as a successive, week-long intensive because I want students to experience the Reformer as a continuum—not three separate courses.

It reflects how many of my classical mentors taught me, including Romana: learn the work, see how it connects, and understand how the foundational exercises evolve into increasingly complex movement.

I weave the Sue Burton Movement Principles through the curriculum from beginning to end, layering information each day while the previous work is still fresh.

Learn the exercises. Understand the progression. See the system. Teach the body in front of you. Balanced Body

The Reformer 1, 2, 3 — The Intensive Way.
This is how I teach the Balanced Body Reformer modules: in a way that threads the learning together from the basics to the more advanced work, just like my mentors in the classical world did — including Romana.

Rather than spreading it out, I guide students through the full Reformer 1–3 curriculum in a successive, week-long intensive, layering in the Balanced Body movement principles from start to finish.

The result?
A deep understanding of how to confidently transition any body into the more complex forms of each Reformer exercise series.
It’s not just about learning the repertoire. It’s about seeing the system — and learning how to teach it with clarity and flow.

Join me. Let’s change the way we teach the Reformer.

REFORMER 3 | BUILD THE COMPLEXITY

Advanced doesn’t simply mean harder.

In Reformer 3, we explore more complex repertoire while learning how to determine when a body is ready for it.

We look at progressions, transitions, sequencing and the building blocks underneath advanced exercises—giving you tools to take different bodies toward more sophisticated movement safely, intelligently and successfully.

The goal is not just to do advanced Pilates. It’s to understand how to teach someone into it.

Learn the exercises. Understand the progression. See the system. Teach the body in front
