Niles Athletics is excited to welcome our new Athletic Trainer, Yuta Shiratori, to our team through Beacon Health System.

Yuta attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, and grew up in California. A lifelong baseball fan, he played college baseball in Japan, bringing his own experience as an athlete into his work in sports medicine.

Yuta completed an internship with the Erie SeaWolves semi-pro baseball team and has a strong interest in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and athletic maintenance, with a particular interest in shoulder health. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Yuta is looking forward to working with our athletes, building relationships, and helping them stay healthy, strong, and prepared to perform at their best.
