Congratulations to longtime NDCP educator, administrator, and Don Mom Fran Pelrine, who, along with her husband, John, was awarded the Archdiocese of Chicago's 2026 Christifideles Award!

The award honors Catholic lay people who have participated in parish life and demonstrated personal and ministerial renewal. The Pelrine family is a member of Saint Juliana Parish. Congratulations, Fran and John!

Throughout the years, we have held the alumni 'Dons on the Road' event across the country to strengthen the bond and rekindle the Don Brotherhood. This event is a great opportunity for Dons from different classes to reconnect, network, and share their cherished memories of Notre Dame College Prep and their adult lives.

The legendary McCaskey family- owners of the Chicago Bears and descendants of NFL pioneer George Halas - sent an astonishing 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 brothers through Notre Dame High School in Niles between 1961 and 1979. Current Bears chairman George McCaskey '74 credits his decades-long "side gig" as a high school baseball umpire and youth football referee to a specific moment at Notre Dame.
