NMS Red Dragon Boosters

Hi there! Hope everyone is enjoying summer! Hard to believe the first day of school is right around the corner!

Niles Red Dragon Boosters is an organization that supports students and staff at Niles Middle School. We help with many of the academic activities and groups as well as the sports teams. In the past we have purchased shirts for WEB and Prep Bowl, purchased books for English Festival, paid entrance fees for Spelling Bee participants, helped with basketball uniforms, run concession stand, and also provide meals for staff on holidays! Boosters have organized book fairs, fall festival and the 8th grade banquet. Along with so much more!

We are looking for volunteers who would love to be a part of this amazing organization! We are looking for a new president and other members to take over. The current president is ready to step back into more of a supportive role. The book fair will be held next week. Starting on Tuesday, December 10th and running through Friday, December 13th. Any parents interested in volunteering to work the book fair please send us a message. Thank You!

Just a reminder there is only one week left to turn in your forms for the NMS Harvest Dinner. These are due by next Friday, September 27th. Thank You!

Reminder that 8th grade banquet rsvp forms are due this Tuesday, May 7th! Students who qualified for the banquet are free and guests are $25 each. Please get those in to the office by Tuesday. No late reservations can be accepted and no entrance at the door without a submitted rsvp. NO EXCEPTIONS. Even if your qualified student will be attending alone without a quest, we still need the rsvp sent in so that we may get an accurate head count.

There is only 1 week left to get those 8th grade banquet RSVPs sent back in. The deadline is Tuesday, May 7th. No late responses will be accepted and no acceptance at the door. Only about 8 students have turned theirs back in to the office. If you are unsure if your student qualified for the banquet and did not get a form, please reach out to the Middle School office.

Letters went home for 8th grade students that are eligible for the banquet. Please send in your RSVP and payment no later than Tuesday, May 7th. We can not accept any reservations past that date and will not allow anyone in at the door without a reservation. If you are not sure if your student was eligible and they did not give you the form, please reach out to the NMS office.

Hi everyone! This is Toni Haydu, NMS Red Dragon Booster President. Most of you who know me, know that I have been running this organization the last 4 years. I took over when my son was in 8th grade and then continued on when my daughter entered 6th grade the following year. Well, my daughter will be moving on to the high school next year. I have found a wonderful replacement to take over as President. We are looking for a few parents to help head the organization with her. You must be the parent/guardian of a student at NMS. If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to me via messenger or comment here and I will message you. I have really enjoyed my time spent at NMS volunteering over the years and am sad that it is coming to an end. I am happy to answer any questions you may have as well.
