Our Niles Service League Quarter Paddle Auction is coming up, and we’re looking for local businesses and individuals who would like to help us make this year’s auction one to remember! 🎉

We are currently accepting donated items, gift certificates, baskets, experiences, and other fun offerings to be featured during our auction.

💙 Meet Our Members Monday! 💙

This week, we're excited to introduce Devon, one of our dedicated Niles Service League members and current Board members!

✨ 6 years of service | 2nd year on the Board

Devon joined Niles Service League in 2020 because she wanted to meet new people who shared something important with her—a passion for serving and improving the community.

"I have always loved volunteering and especially loved that this is a LOCAL nonprofit with direct benefit to our community members."

🪙 Favorite Project: The Quarter Paddle Auction!

As NSL's biggest fundraiser, the Quarter Paddle Auction is one of Devon's favorite events. She loves seeing families come out and have fun, seeing the support from local businesses, and watching the community come together to support a great cause.

"It truly takes a village." 💙

🪴 Fun Fact: Devon is a houseplant enthusiast! She currently has more than 22 houseplants...and counting! 🌿

When asked what she would tell someone considering joining Niles Service League, Devon said:

"You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! It's fun to get out of your comfort zone, meet new people, and make a difference."

We couldn't agree more! Niles Service League is about service, friendship, and making a meaningful impact right here at home.

Thank you, Devon, for your continued dedication to NSL and for helping lead our organization as we continue to grow and serve our community! 💙

Stay tuned next Monday as we introduce another amazing member of NSL!

💙 **Meet Our Members Monday!** 💙

This week, we're excited to introduce Kelly Nelson, one of the amazing women who helps make Niles Service League what it is!

✨ Serving since 2021

Kelly began volunteering with Niles Service League in 2021 as a way to give back to the community and meet new people. Her passion for service started long before joining NSL—she grew up watching both of her parents volunteer regularly and saw firsthand the positive impact that even a small group of people can make.

🌭 Favorite Event: The Korn Dog Stand at the Berrien County Youth Fair!

Kelly looks forward to the fast-paced and fun atmosphere each year. And of course, she makes sure to leave a little time before or after her shift to visit the animals and enjoy the fair! 🐄🎡

🌎 Fun Fact: Kelly loves to travel, and one item on her bucket list is to visit every National Park in the United States! 🏞️

When asked what she would tell someone who is hesitant about volunteering, Kelly shared some great advice:

"No contribution is too small. Start where you're comfortable, and you can always become more involved over time."

We couldn't agree more! Every volunteer, every hour, and every little bit of support helps us make a bigger impact in our community. 💙

Thank you, Kelly, for your dedication to Niles Service League and for reminding us that making a difference starts with simply showing up!

Stay tuned next Monday as we introduce another amazing member of NSL!
