First day of this class! There will be another first day tomorrow, but it was a great day and a great start to the new school year! We worked today on “getting the cobwebs out of our brains”. We did some math review activities, brainstormed events from summer to begin our “summer stories”, baked cookies, and did some orthographic technical art. 🥰

President:
Donald Trump=23 votes (2 ballots had multiple circles filled in…couldn’t tell what the intent was 😊)

United States Representative:
Nick Begich=9 votes
John Wayne Howe=3 votes
Mary Peltola, Bob Ross, and a student write-in=1 vote each

State Senator District D:
Ben Carpenter=16 votes
Jesse Bjorkman=2 votes
Shaeanne(my daughter) and Dude Perfect (Write-in votes)=1 vote each

State Representative District 8:
John Hillyer=9 votes
Bill Elam=3 votes
2 students and my other daughter, Linnaea, also received write-in votes. 😊
