GREAT NEWS FROM KID KROSSING: We have received grant funding that will allow us to enroll your kiddos for our after school program for the "whopping" cost of $1.00 a day per child!!!! We are set up for K - 6th grade. Bus from Nickerson Elementary will run to the Methodist Church after school and we are open until 6:00. This will be a first come, first serve opportunity. We will take any children that have previously been enrolled in our program first, and then go from there. The first 15 children will be enrolled automatically. We will NOT take on more than 20 children, unless the numbers increase due to multiple children per family. There will be our one time $20.00 registration fee per family, and then just the dollar per day. Snacks will be served this year, not the full meal as in the past. Homework will be tackled first, then reading. As time permits after that, play time comes in! We follow the school calendar and will also operate on the days school lets out early. If there is no school, there is no Kid Krossing. Please call Gina Scott, our director, at 620-664-8326 to enroll or for any questions. Here's to a great 2022-2023 school year!!

Not sure what to do with your K - 6th grade students after school is out @3:10? Send them to Kid Krossing! They get to ride the bus from Nickerson Elementary to the Methodist Church, are in a Christian environment until 6:00 pm and get fed a full nutritional meal as well!! We have a program director that will supervise a reading program that will help your student with the AR reading program at the school, also make sure that your student's homework is accomplished! We have outdoor play time when the weather accommodates, and art projects when not. Contact the church @422-3351, the program director Gina @664-8326 or the board chairman Angie @727-2308. Children must be picked up by 6:00 each evening. We can enroll your students for five days a week or part time. Give us a call for more information.
